bellamyTracy has lived in the Hunts Point neighborhood for over 14 years and raised her four children, Kinchasa (20), Kianni (15), Katiana (13), and Keiante (7) here.  A special family tradition that they share is a special breakfast of codfish and harmony grits each Sunday, a custom from Bermuda. Tracy remains active in her children’s education through involvement in the PTA and connecting with each of their teachers.

With experience as a resident counselor with the AHRC and a current student, Tracy understands the difficulties of being a working mother. Tracy first became involved with HPAC as a parent researcher last spring, where she led parent forums and interviewed parents on the barriers they faced on a daily basis. Tracy sees much strength in the way the Hunts Point community can unite, such as the successful Back to School Fair.
