Health is one of the major concerns of HPAC. The Hunts Point Peninsula is plagued with poor air conditions, pollution controls and waste removal. With a 5.4 percent infant mortality rate, and more than 75 percent of the surviving infants being born into poverty, it is imperative that solution to these poor conditions are found. HPAC believes that this atmosphere can be changed, by simply offering opportunities to the community that can increase health in the area. Please look to the right-hand side of the page to see inspiring health achievements within the Hunts Point community.
