Proper living conditions are hard to come by in Hunts Point.  With over 57 percent of housing being in fair to poor condition, compared to the citywide average of 22 percent, this fact is clear.  Hunts Point has a small residential hub, and much of this hub is spread throughout industrially zoned areas. Tens of thousands of people, including thousands of children, live within this small area that is often forgotten when it comes to city-wide reform.
